I, the applicant hereby expressly gives Booyco Electronics permission to collect and process any of my personal information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act (No. 4 of 2013) ("POPIA") and the associated regulations and this can be done –
1.1 for any legitimate purposes connected with my potential employment, including but not limited to maintaining personal contact details, to comply with applicable legislation, occupational health and safety, security and access control, employment and other credit references, and the like.
1.2 to comply with laws and other measures designed to protect or advance persons, or categories of persons, disadvantaged by unfair discrimination.
1.3 to protect Booyco Electronics legitimate interests
1.4 to perform obligations under law or contract, to protect my legitimate interests or to pursue the legitimate interests of Booyco Electronics or of a third party to whom the information is supplied.
2. For purposes of this clause, "processing" refers to processing as defined in POPIA and includes but is not limited to collecting, receiving, recording, organising, collating, storing, updating, retrieving, altering, using, disseminating, distributing, merging, linking, blocking, degrading, erasing, or destroying of any personal information.
3. I understand that personal information includes:
- CV/Resume
- Employment history
- Contact details
- Physical Address
- Email address
- Identification number/document
- Driver’s License number/card
- Ethnic group
- Qualifications
- References
- Integrity Checks (Credit/Criminal etc.)
4. I warrant that all personal information provided by me to Booyco Electronics shall always be true and correct and that the provision of inaccurate and/or misleading personal information shall constitute a serious offence.
I confirm that Booyco Electronics may retain my personal information in their database for future matching and employment opportunities.
If I do not wish Booyco Electronics to retain my details at any stage, I will email Booyco Electronics directly so that they can delete my details from their database.
